Soul Church is a large evangelical church based in Norwich.

The building was designed by Feilden + Mawson architects, with acoustic design by Adrian James Acoustics and construction by BDB Design Build. It was opened in April 2024.

The original church was destroyed by a fire in 2006 and for many years, the church occupied temporary premises at a former MFI warehouse.

Along with the main 1200-seat auditorium and a second auditorium, the building is designed to serve the local community.  Facilities include a nursery, a soft play area, a cafe and a social supermarket.

We were involved with the project for 5 years, and at Soul Church’s opening weekend 5000 people were welcomed to the new building.

Pastor Jon Norman described the church as “a gateway of hope and a place of good news.”
