Ben Hunt
ACOUSTICS CONSULTANT
Ben’s background is a combination of technical and creative. At college, he attained a triple-distinction in Music, before achieving a grade A in A Level Maths. He graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2016 with a BSc First-Class Honours in Sound Design Technology, where he further developed his passion for acoustics and audio electronics. During this time, he built a variety of audio-related equipment including a software synthesiser, a hardware MIDI controller, and numerous DIY guitar pedals.
After graduating from university, Ben joined a loudspeaker company, building and testing various models of speaker and associated accessories. He then worked for a leading noise and vibration equipment manufacturer and distributor, running their UK calibration facility. During this time Ben was able to grow and develop this side of the company, implementing various strategies to optimise procedures and improve overall efficiency.
In December 2022 he was awarded the Institute of Acoustics Diploma and is a Member of the IoA.
