Adrian James Acoustics is pleased to introduce the newest member of our team – Gary Percival. Gary has over 10 years experience within the field of acoustics, having graduated from Anglia Ruskin University in 2009 with a First Class Honours degree in Audio and Music Technology.

Having started his career as a sound insulation test engineer at Cass Allen Associates, Gary moved to WSP in 2015. There he worked on the architectural acoustic design of new stations for the Crossrail development in London, as well as a number of new school designs.

Following a move to Sharps Redmore, he took a leading role in the noise and vibration team for the proposed Sizewell C nuclear power station. His additional work included the preparation of the noise and vibration chapter of the Environmental Statement.

His new appointment as Associate at AJA will see Gary focussing on two key areas. He will specialise in environmental acoustics and noise assessment whilst also taking a leading role in staff training and documentation of the company’s calculation methods.
Gary has also recently become a father, so when not dealing with complex environmental issues he will be enjoying time with his new son.
