We are pleased to welcome a new member of the AJA team.
Assistant Acoustics Consultant
Chris Burn has joined the company in the role of Assistant Acoustics Consultant.
Chris hails from Suffolk, but has lived and worked for many years in Kent, with a period in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Choir
At the age of six, he became a member of the famous Wenhaston Boys Choir, and later a chorister at Ely Cathedral.
Cycling
A career in singing – both performing and recording – has run alongside his other passions: cycling, boats and pipe organs.
Whilst living in Canterbury he ran his own cycle hire and repair business at the University of Kent.
Institute of Acoustics
When Chris decided to follow a career in acoustics, he initially gained some experience in surveying at a small independent acoustics consultancy.
At the same time, he undertook independent study for the Institute of Acoustics‘ prestigious diploma.
Career
Chris has now become an Associate Member of the IoA – something which puts him in a great position for starting his acoustics career at AJA.
We look forward to Chris developing his skills at Adrian James Acoustics and cementing his place in the AJA team.
