Rosanna Fish wins AJA Research Seminar Paper Prize

We are pleased to announce that Rosanna Fish has won the second Adrian James Acoustics Research Seminar Paper Prize.  The annual cash prize is awarded to students studying the prestigious Tonmeister programme at the University of Surrey.


Rosanna being presented her prize by Andy Thompson of Adrian James Acoustics, who previously studied the Tonmeister degree.

Rosanna’s paper ‘Blind upmix of 2-channel stereo signals to 5.1-channel surround sound’ explores algorithms which can be used to upmix 2-channel stereo recordings to 5.1 surround.  Congratulations to Rosanna!
