Fulham Pier is a newly opened riverside destination in South-West London, part of Fulham Football Club’s Riverside Stand redevelopment at Craven Cottage. Designed by Populous architects, it blends hospitality, culture, and leisure.

Food vendors
The Riverside Market hosts independent food vendors and interactive digital art. There are ten eateries and the standout restaurant, Brasserie Constance is headed up by Michelin-starred chef Adam Byatt.
Events planned for Fulham Pier range from comedy, yoga and toddler discos to workshops with artists such as Yinka Ilori.

Another attraction is the Orange Box theatre which seats 185 using retractable seating, or 500 standing, and features a large LED video screen. A boutique hotel and luxury spa with rooftop pool are set to open soon.
Acoustic design and testing
Working closely with the fitout contractor, Portview, our role included detailed advice to comply with the employer’s acoustic requirements. This included reviewing wall and ceiling specifications, sound insulation of floors, and acoustic modelling for the food hall. We also undertook extensive acoustic commissioning tests on completion, witnessed by the client’s own acoustics consultant.

Four years
Our involvement in this substantial project covered a period of almost four years. Sound insulation through the floors needed careful attention to meet stringent requirements. We worked on detailing sound insulating walls in the hotel and concourse areas, and models for acoustic finishes in the ground-floor food hall, using modelling software.
