The Norfolk and Norwich Festival has just finished, and once again the Adnams Spiegeltent came to town. This unusual venue is part of a tradition stretching back over a hundred years, when large travelling tents would tour round Europe, acting as a home for cabaret and other entertainment.
The Festival revived the idea a few years ago by bringing one of the few remaining tents to Chapelfield Park in Norwich. The Spiegeltent is a unique setting for some extraordinary performances with its striking interior.
Once more Adrian James Acoustics was entrusted with the job of checking sound levels at the Chapelfield Gardens site.
When a show is in full swing, the sound needs to meet levels appropriate to the surrounding area, and AJA was there to help.
