12th September marked a special day for one of AJA’s senior staff members.
Andy Thompson first started working for the company in September 2002, so the flags were out for his twentieth anniversary.

Not only is Andy an Associate at Adrian James Acoustics, but he also fills the role of Operations Manager.

Tonmeister degree
Andy studied at the University of Surrey, taking the Tonmeister degree in Music and Sound recording. He spent three years at the University’s Institute of Sound Recording before moving into a career in acoustics.
Growth
Over the last 20 years, Andy has seen the company grow from a two-man band into a thriving business with 12 members of staff. He has helped steer the business through considerable technological change and innovation.

French horn
In his spare time, Andy is well known as a french horn player. He has appeared with many orchestras and small groups. His enthusiasm for music is also shared with the rest of his family, all of whom are instrumental musicians.
